Shivamogga: K B Shivakumar, Deputy Commissioner informs that all preparations to be taken up to conduct CET copiously according to the guidelines without giving room for any confusion, which are going to be held on 30th July and 31st July.
He gave instructions on Tuesday, in this regard, in the prior meeting about conducting of CET.
Following of Guidelines : “In the wake of Covid19, conduct the Test according to guidelines prepared and issued by the State Government, all the Test Centers should be Sanitised by sprinkling the sanitizing liquid and to be cleaned, after the Test, all the rooms and furniture should be Sanitised.” He said.
“Instruction should be given to the students to be 2 hours early in the room before the Test starts. They should maintain 3 feet distance. There should not be not more than maximum 24 students in a room, Students should have brought their own drinking water bottles. The students will be allowed to bring lunch box.” He said.
Arrangements should have been made available of sanitisers at the entry gate of Test Centers. At least 50 masks should have been kept ready in the Test Centers. It has to be confirmed that wearing of mask by the students which is mandatory. The head of the Test Centers should should have to get confirmed as there is no symptoms of the Disease in any of members of the staff of examination Centers. Invigilators and superintendents should have worn hand gloves and mecal masks, water and soaps are to be made available for cleaning the hands in the toilets.” He said.
Nagaraj Kargal, Deputy Director of PUC Education Department gave an information in the meeting, saying
“Information about the District:. 6888 students are going to take up the Test in total 15 Test Centers in total. The details of the Test Centers are as follows : In Shivamogga 9, Bhadravathi 2, Sagara 2, and 1 each in Thirthahalli and Shikaripura. An additional room is reserved at each Test center for the students who come from Containment Zones.”
“It has been arranged for the students, who are found with Corona positive, to take up the Test in Morarji Desai at Gajanur. Higher officers are deputed as Superintendent for each Test centers and 6 trio Committee are formed. Special Vigilance squads have been appointed in all the Test Centers.” He said.
