Yesterday, all of us watched the heart touching video of the lady farmer.

I believe and understand that everyone of us is capable and willing to do something for the society. Just by spreading the video of the lady farmer, lakhs of people did thier bit. The media too did a wonderful job by giving the required focus and importance to the issue. I too felt that I should do something in my own way. I called my M.P. shri. Tejaswi ji, Ministers shri. B. C. Patil ji and shri. Narayan Gowda ji. The way they and their personal secretaries responded towards the issue of the lady farmer, was very impressive. I was overwhelmed when I got to know that the Govt. has looked into the matter and the farmer’s onions have been purchased.

It strengthened my belief that people are good-hearted and there is a political will.

But, still treating it as a stand alone issue, may not provide a holistic solution to the farmers plight…We need to have an ‘Agricultural Revolution’…We all have abundance of power within us. Let’s use it. Let’s stand with our farmers. Our solidarity will ensure that their issues will be addressed.

If that happens then our farmers won’t suffer, won’t quit farming, won’t discourage their children to pursue farming, won’t shift their base to the cities and more importantly won’t commit suicide.

I hope in the coming days, India will truly become ‘Sujalam Sufalam’…….
