ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ “ಅವರ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಗುಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್” (Our Lady of Good Health) ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಉತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ತೆರಳುವ ಭಕ್ತರ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ (ಗೋವಾ) ಮತ್ತು ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ (ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು) ನಡುವೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ರೈಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಲು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು (Indian Railway Board) ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಹಬ್ಬದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೂರು ವಿಶೇಷ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ರೈಲುಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಗೋವಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ನಗರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಿದೆ.
ಮೊದಲ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲು – ಎರಡು ಟ್ರಿಪ್ಗಳು
ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 07361 ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ–ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 27 ಹಾಗೂ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2026 ರಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ 9.55ಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು, ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 3.45ಕ್ಕೆ ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ ತಲುಪಲಿದೆ.
ಮರುಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 07362 ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ–ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ ವಿಶೇಷ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 29 ಹಾಗೂ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 3, 2026 ರಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ 11.55ಕ್ಕೆ ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು, ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 3.00ಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ ತಲುಪಲಿದೆ.
ಎರಡನೇ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲು – ಒಂದು ಟ್ರಿಪ್
ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 07365 ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ–ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 6, 2026 (ಭಾನುವಾರ) ರಾತ್ರಿ 9.55ಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 8 (ಮಂಗಳವಾರ) ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 3.45ಕ್ಕೆ ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ ತಲುಪಲಿದೆ.
ಮರುಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 07366 ವೇಲಂಕಣ್ಣಿ–ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ ವಿಶೇಷ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 9 (ಬುಧವಾರ) ರಾತ್ರಿ 1.00ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 10 (ಗುರುವಾರ) ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 3.00ಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಸ್ಕೋ-ಡ-ಗಾಮ ತಲುಪಲಿದೆ.

ಎರಡೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳು ಮಡಗಾಂವ್, ಸಾನ್ವೋರ್ಡೆಮ್ ಕರ್ಚೋರೆಮ್, ಕುಲೆಮ್, ಕ್ಯಾಸಲ್ ರಾಕ್, ಲೊಂಡಾ, ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಎಸ್ಎಂಎಂ ಹಾವೇರಿ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಬೀರೂರು, ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ, ತುಮಕೂರು, ಎಸ್ಎಂವಿಟಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜಪುರಂ, ಬಂಗಾರಪೇಟೆ, ಸೇಲಂ, ನಮಕ್ಕಲ್, ಕರೂರ್, ತಿರುಚ್ಚಿರಾಪಳ್ಳಿ, ತಂಜಾವೂರು, ತಿರುವರೂರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಗಪಟ್ಟಿಣಂ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲುಗಡೆಯಾಗಲಿವೆ.
ಆದರೆ ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 07361/07362 ಮಾತ್ರ ಚಿಕ್ಕಜಾಜೂರು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲುಗಡೆಯಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, 07365/07366 ರೈಲುಗಳು ಚಿಕ್ಕಜಾಜೂರು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
19 ಬೋಗಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲು
ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 19 ಬೋಗಿಗಳು ಇರಲಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ:
- 6 ತ್ರಿ-ಟೈರ್ ಎಸಿ (3A) ಬೋಗಿಗಳು
- 7 ಸ್ಲೀಪರ್ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಬೋಗಿಗಳು
- 4 ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ದರ್ಜೆ (ಜನರಲ್) ಬೋಗಿಗಳು
- ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ 1 ಲಗೇಜ್-ಕಮ್-ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ವ್ಯಾನ್
- 1 ಲಗೇಜ್-ಕಮ್-ಗಾರ್ಡ್-ಕಮ್-ಜನರೇಟರ್ ಕಾರ್
ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ?
ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿ, ಆಸನ ಲಭ್ಯತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು IRCTC ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ರೈಲು ವಿಚಾರಣಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ (NTES) ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಮುಂಗಡ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
Indian Railway : Special Vasco da Gama–Velankanni Express Trains Announced for Annual Feast
Hubballi: To facilitate the travel of devotees attending the annual Our Lady of Good Health Feast at Velankanni, the Railway Board has approved the operation of special express trains between Vasco da Gama (Goa) and Velankanni (Tamil Nadu).
The special services have been introduced to manage the heavy passenger rush during the annual pilgrimage and will operate three special trips connecting Goa, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Two Special Trips: Train Nos. 07361/07362
Train No. 07361 Vasco da Gama–Velankanni Special Express will depart from Vasco da Gama at 9:55 PM on August 27 and September 1, 2026, and arrive at Velankanni at 3:45 AM on the third day.
On the return journey, Train No. 07362 Velankanni–Vasco da Gama Special Express will leave Velankanni at 11:55 PM on August 29 and September 3, 2026, and reach Vasco da Gama at 3:00 AM on the third day.
One Additional Special Trip: Train Nos. 07365/07366
Train No. 07365 Vasco da Gama–Velankanni Special Express will depart from Vasco da Gama at 9:55 PM on September 6, 2026 (Sunday) and arrive at Velankanni at 3:45 AM on September 8 (Tuesday).
For the return journey, Train No. 07366 Velankanni–Vasco da Gama Special Express will depart from Velankanni at 1:00 AM on September 9 (Wednesday) and reach Vasco da Gama at 3:00 AM on September 10 (Thursday).
Major Stoppages
Both special trains will halt at Madgaon, Sanvordem Curchorem, Kulem, Castle Rock, Londa, Dharwad, SSS Hubballi, SMM Haveri, Davanagere, Birur, Arsikere, Tumakuru, SMVT Bengaluru, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
However, Train Nos. 07361/07362 will also stop at Chikkajajur, while Train Nos. 07365/07366 will not halt there.
Coach Composition
Each special train will consist of 19 coaches, including:
- 6 AC Three-Tier coaches
- 7 Sleeper Class coaches
- 4 General Second Class coaches
- 1 Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van with facilities for Divyangjan (persons with disabilities)
- 1 Luggage-cum-Guard-cum-Generator Car
Reservation Details
Passengers can check the detailed timetable, seat availability and book tickets through the IRCTC reservation system and the National Train Enquiry System (NTES). Railway authorities have advised passengers to make advance reservations to avoid last-minute inconvenience during the festival season.
