Shivamogga: According to the government’s new guidelines, those who have come from outside states to complete the 7 days corporate quarantine should be released and sent to home quarantine, said DC KB Shivakumar.
He made the announcement at a district health committee meeting Thursday at the district office.
So far, 14 days of corporate quarantine has been imposed on outsiders, which has been reduced to 7 days according to the new guidelines. There are currently 553 quarantine in various hostels. Visit each hostel, check the health of those who have completed the 7-day period, seal them by hand, and send them home to Quarantine. He said a nodal officer should be appointed for each taluk.
As the number of home quarantine grows in the near future, they need to be kept on track. The list should be forwarded to the respective PDO and Taluk level officers.
Only those arriving from states that are recognized as delicate states will be subjected to a 7-day corporate quarantine. Those from other states must be sent to Quarantine directly for home care. According to the new guideline, those with primary contact should also be admitted to the home quarantine. He said the Quarantine Watch App must be downloaded before the Quarantine is imposed.
