Shivamogga: The Deputy Commissioner, Shri K B Shivakumar, has formed a District Surveillance team of 24 Senior Officers and Medical Officers to look overall and effectively control Pandemic Corona disease.

He gave the information, in the meeting of the committee about the responsibilities of the members, in the DC office new meeting hall on Thursday.

He said that the similar kind of Committee also to be formed at Taluk levels and the committee has to conduct meeting daily and report it to the District Committee. All the Tasildars are appointed as Incident Commanders.

Instruction: In the backdrop of increasing Corona cases, intense the severely survey of health at each house which are in the containment zone. If there were asymptomatic Corona Positive Cases, they would be allowed to keep them in isolation in their houses provided the facilities available in accordance with the guidelines.

Everyday, care should have to be taken of their health condition.

Preparation: Everyday the information has to be submitted about the availability of beds at present, the beds which will be available in three days, oxygen and ventilators. There should not be any confusion in providing beds. Examining the details about the available beds in the private hospitals and to submit the report before every Saturday, he said.

250 beds in Residential School at Shikaripura and 50 beds in Devara Narasipura Residential School have been arranged and Corona Care Center may be started, he said.

Restrictions:. Instructions have to be given to those who get admission in the Corona Care Center to bring bedsheets, towel, toothpaste, brush and other essentials from their houses.

It is allowed to get fruits from their houses but there is provision to get food from their houses. Video shooting has been prohibited in the Covid Wards and it is a punishable offence, he clarified.
