Mysuru-Kodagu Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar called upon the students, parents, and the educational institutions to make our young students more conscious and patriotic about our country. He stated that all of us must work towards realising the dream of our forefathers on making the country a developed country. ” Imparting value based education is key for the country’s growth,” he said.
Speaking after congratulating the students of Purna Chetana School for their world records achieved in celebration of Independence Day, as approved by Elite World Records, Asian Records Academy, and India Records Academy, it was highlighted that over 525 students set two remarkable world records. The achievements include a mass sports drill performed blindfolded while holding the Indian National Flag, and the creation of the largest Indian National Flag, measuring 96 square meters (12 meters x 8 meters), completed in 4 hours and 5 minutes. This flag was made using 96,000 origami balls crafted from recycled paper. These world records, he stated, will inspire students across the country to foster a sense of patriotism
The world records were Officially certified by Bhavana Navaneeth, Adjudicator from Elite World Records, P G Pratibha, Adjudicator from Asian Records Academy and India Records Academy.
The students also took a pledge to build a developed India (Vikasit Bharat) by 2047. On this occasion, the students spread the message of Swachh Mysuru- Swachh Bharat.

“Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modiji has given us the dream of a developed India. In order to achieve this, the role of youth is very important,” said Yaduveer He called upon all the students to serve this country as much as they can.
“Today, India is emerging as Vishwa Guru. We should always make sacrifices for this country,” he said.
Yaduveer also called upon the students to inculcate various values which will help them to contribute towards building our nation. “Every Indian citizen needs to play a role in building our nation. We need to sensitise our children about their role in the future in this regard,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the school B Darshan Raj said that the future of this country can be written by the students of today. He said that our most important goal is to inculcate patriotism among students in their tender age.
School President Dr. Vidyasagar who spoke on the occasion opined that in today’s complex situation, the feeling of patriotism needs to be inculcated in every child at an early age.
Madhurya Ramaswamy, the chief administrator of the school, said that there is no other sacred idea in the world like the idea of Indianness. She said that it is the responsibility of all of us to prepare our students to carry forward the country’s future, and legacy.
