To clear the extra passenger rush during the summer season, South Western Railway will operate two trips of express special train services between Yesvantpur and New Jalpaiguri (West Bengal), with return services to Bengaluru Cantt.
Train No. 06567 Yesvantpur–New Jalpaiguri Express Special will run on April 17 and 24, departing from Yesvantpur at 07:00 hrs and reaching New Jalpaiguri at 07:00 hrs on the third day. In the return direction, Train No. 06568 New Jalpaiguri–Bengaluru Cantt. Express Special will depart from New Jalpaiguri on April 20 and 27 at 08:30 hrs and arrive at Bengaluru Cantt. at 09:55 hrs on the third day.
En route, the train will stop at Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Gooty, Dhone, Nandyal, Markapur Road, Narasaraopet, Guntur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Kharagpur, Andul, Dankuni, Barddhaman, Bolpur (Shantiniketan), Rampur Hat, New Farakka, Malda Town and Kishanganj stations in both directions.
The special train will consist of 21 coaches, including AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, General Second Class and Luggage and Brake Vans.
