ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಕೆಲವು ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವು ರೈಲುಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಲವು ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಯ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ (Indian Railway) ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಬದಲಾದ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುವಂತೆ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು–ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ ಪ್ಯಾಸೆಂಜರ್ ರೈಲು ಸಂಚಾರ ರದ್ದು
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ 2026ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 1ರಂದು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 56208 ಮೈಸೂರು–ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ ಪ್ಯಾಸೆಂಜರ್
- ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 56209 ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ–ಮೈಸೂರು ಪ್ಯಾಸೆಂಜರ್
ಈ ಎರಡು ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸೇವೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 1ರಂದು ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ–ತಿರುಪತಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ರೈಲು ವಿಳಂಬ
ಅದೇ ದಿನ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 16219 ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ–ತಿರುಪತಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ರೈಲಿನ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ರೈಲು ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ 60 ನಿಮಿಷ ತಡವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡಲಿದೆ.
- ಮಾರ್ಗ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೈಲನ್ನು 30 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಈ ರೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುವವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಯಶವಂತಪುರ–ಚಿಕ್ಕಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ MEMU ರೈಲು ಸೇವೆ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ರದ್ದು
ಲೊಟ್ಟೆಗೊಲ್ಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯಲಹಂಕ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಸಹಕಾರನಗರ ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಸುರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಗಿರ್ಡರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್ಸಿಸಿ ಬಾಕ್ಸ್ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ತೆರವು ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಾಗಿ ಲೈನ್ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪವರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವು MEMU ರೈಲು ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Mysuru–Chamarajanagar Passenger Trains Cancelled on August 1
Due to operational reasons, the following passenger train services will remain cancelled on August 1, 2026:
- Train No. 56208 Mysuru–Chamarajanagar Passenger
- Train No. 56209 Chamarajanagar–Mysuru Passenger
Passengers travelling on this route are requested to make alternative travel arrangements.

Chamarajanagar–Tirupati Express Departure Delayed
The schedule of Train No. 16219 Chamarajanagar–Tirupati Express has been revised on August 1, 2026.
- The train will depart from Chamarajanagar station 60 minutes late.
- The train will also be regulated for 30 minutes en route.
Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Yeshwanthpur–Chikkaballapur MEMU Services Cancelled
Due to engineering works involving the installation and removal of temporary girders and RCC boxes at the Sahakaranagar pedestrian subway between Lottegollahalli and Yelahanka stations, a line block and power block will be carried out.
As a result, the following MEMU train services will be temporarily cancelled:
- Train No. 06593 Yeshwanthpur–Chikkaballapur MEMU
- Train No. 06594 Chikkaballapur–Yeshwanthpur MEMU
Cancellation Period
- August 5 to August 8, 2026
- August 12 to August 15, 2026

Indian Railway : Special Vasco da Gama–Velankanni Express Trains Announced for Annual Feast
Hubballi: To facilitate the travel of devotees attending the annual Our Lady of Good Health Feast at Velankanni, the Railway Board has approved the operation of special express trains between Vasco da Gama (Goa) and Velankanni (Tamil Nadu).
The special services have been introduced to manage the heavy passenger rush during the annual pilgrimage and will operate three special trips connecting Goa, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Two Special Trips: Train Nos. 07361/07362
Train No. 07361 Vasco da Gama–Velankanni Special Express will depart from Vasco da Gama at 9:55 PM on August 27 and September 1, 2026, and arrive at Velankanni at 3:45 AM on the third day.
On the return journey, Train No. 07362 Velankanni–Vasco da Gama Special Express will leave Velankanni at 11:55 PM on August 29 and September 3, 2026, and reach Vasco da Gama at 3:00 AM on the third day.
One Additional Special Trip: Train Nos. 07365/07366
Train No. 07365 Vasco da Gama–Velankanni Special Express will depart from Vasco da Gama at 9:55 PM on September 6, 2026 (Sunday) and arrive at Velankanni at 3:45 AM on September 8 (Tuesday).
For the return journey, Train No. 07366 Velankanni–Vasco da Gama Special Express will depart from Velankanni at 1:00 AM on September 9 (Wednesday) and reach Vasco da Gama at 3:00 AM on September 10 (Thursday).
Major Stoppages
Both special trains will halt at Madgaon, Sanvordem Curchorem, Kulem, Castle Rock, Londa, Dharwad, SSS Hubballi, SMM Haveri, Davanagere, Birur, Arsikere, Tumakuru, SMVT Bengaluru, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
However, Train Nos. 07361/07362 will also stop at Chikkajajur, while Train Nos. 07365/07366 will not halt there.
Coach Composition
Each special train will consist of 19 coaches, including:
- 6 AC Three-Tier coaches
- 7 Sleeper Class coaches
- 4 General Second Class coaches
- 1 Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van with facilities for Divyangjan (persons with disabilities)
- 1 Luggage-cum-Guard-cum-Generator Car
Reservation Details
Passengers can check the detailed timetable, seat availability and book tickets through the IRCTC reservation system and the National Train Enquiry System (NTES). Railway authorities have advised passengers to make advance reservations to avoid last-minute inconvenience during the festival season.
