The Hubballi Division of South Western Railway has organised drawing, essay writing, and elocution competitions for school students as part of a public awareness campaign ahead of the inauguration of redeveloped railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).
Railway stations at Alnavar, Koppal, and Badami, upgraded under the ABSS, are scheduled to be inaugurated on July 17. With modern passenger amenities and improved infrastructure, these stations have been transformed into model railway hubs.
The competitions were conducted on themes such as “What will the developed railway station in my city look like?” and “What will I do to help build a Developed India?” Students expressed their creativity and ideas on world-class railway infrastructure and nation-building through drawings, essays, and speeches.
