To manage the extra rush of passengers during the summer season, the Railway Board has approved the extension of the following special train services. These trains will continue to operate with existing timings, stoppages, and composition:
- Train No. 06571 Yesvantpur–Katihar Weekly Special (Tuesday), earlier notified to run up to 31.03.2026, will now continue its service from 07.04.2026 to 14.07.2026.
- Train No. 06572 Katihar–Yesvantpur Weekly Special (Friday), earlier notified up to 03.04.2026, will now run from 10.04.2026 to 17.07.2026.
- Train No. 07153 Narasapur–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (Friday), earlier notified up to 27.03.2026, will now continue to run from 10.04.2026 to 29.05.2026.
- Train No. 07154 SMVT Bengaluru–Narasapur Weekly Express Special (Saturday), earlier notified up to 28.03.2026, will now continue from 11.04.2026 to 30.05.2026.
- Train No. 06557 SMVT Bengaluru–Santragachi Weekly Express Special (Friday), earlier notified up to 03.04.2026, will now run from 10.04.2026 to 24.04.2026.
- Train No. 06558 Santragachi–Bengaluru Cantonment Weekly Express Special (Sunday), earlier notified up to 05.04.2026, will now continue from 12.04.2026 to 26.04.2026
Train Nos. 06571/06572 will run 15 trips each, 07153/07154 will run 8 trips each, and 06557/06558 will run 3 trips each in each direction.
