In a move aimed at easing passenger congestion, the Railway Board has approved the extension of the special express train service operating between Mysuru and Madar Junction.
According to earlier notifications, Train No. 06281/06282 Mysuru–Madar Junction–Mysuru Express Special will continue to operate without any changes in its existing schedule, stoppages, fare structure, or composition.
Train No. 06281 Mysuru–Madar Junction Express Special, which was earlier notified to run until June 27, 2026, has now been extended to operate on July 4 and July 11, 2026 (Saturdays), adding two additional trips.

Similarly, Train No. 06282 Madar Junction–Mysuru Express Special, previously scheduled until June 29, 2026, will now run on July 6 and July 13, 2026 (Mondays), also adding two additional trips.
The extension is expected to provide significant relief and convenience to passengers traveling on this route amid increased demand.
