Shri Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager, South Western Railway, undertook a detailed inspection of the KSR Bengaluru–Whitefield section, reviewing important safety, infrastructure, and capacity enhancement works underway in the Bengaluru division.
At KSR Bengaluru Station, the General Manager inspected the station premises and reviewed the ongoing pitline construction, assessing progress and advising officials to ensure timely completion.
At Bengaluru Cantonment, Shri Mukul Saran Mathur inspected the station redevelopment project, which aims to significantly upgrade passenger amenities and modernize infrastructure facilities. He instructed the officials to complete the project within the scheduled timelines.
During the visit, the General Manager also reviewed the quadrupling work between Bengaluru Cantonment and Whitefield, an important capacity augmentation project intended to ease congestion and improve operational efficiency.
Shri Ajay Sharma, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction); Shri Ashutosh Mathur, Chief Engineer (Construction); Shri Parikshit Mohanpuria, Additional Divisional Railway Manager; Shri Gul Ashfaque Mohammed, Chief Project Manager, Gatishakti and other officers were present.
