Challakere: For the first time in taluk, Budget for the year 2020-21 has been presented in the Belagere Grama Panchayat of Challakere Taluk, Chitradurga Dist, Karnataka.

Rural Development Officer E. Gundappa said, this is the first time in the Taluk that the village budget has been prepared and the budget is presented. 2.48410 Lakhs Budget has been presented and priority will be given to drinking water, toilets, housing for the poor and employment guarantee.

Speaking of Grama Panchyat President Thippamma Manjunatha, we have seen the budget being presented in the country and the state so far. But this is the first time in the village arbitration that the budget is presented.

More development work will be given priority. toilet will be made free arbitration and the hut will be made a free village and clean villages, She said.
