13 people including 2 children were killed in a Terrible accident near Haveri, Karnataka today.
The accident took place between a tempo traveler and a parked lorry near Gundenahalli Cross in Badagi Taluk of Haveri while returning from the temple of Savadatti yellamma temple.
As per preliminary information, the deceased were from Emmihatti village in Bhadravathi taluk, Shivamogga city alkola area of Shivamogga district and Kadur of Chikkamagaluru District.

Because of the impact of the collision, the dead bodies were stuck in the mangled remains of the mini bus and the fire brigade and police personnel had a difficult time in extricating the bodies.
Four persons who have suffered grievous injuries in the accident, have been shifted to the hospital.
The TT vehicle collided with the lorry standing on the roadside. The front of the TT vehicle was almost crushed due to the impact. As per the source, there were a total of 17 people in the TT, out of which 13 died.
Among those who died in the accident were Adarsh, Vishalashamma, Nagesh, Bhagya, Manasa, Subhadra of Emmehatti village, Parashuram and Roopa, a couple of Alkola residents of Shimoga city.
Also, Manjula Bai of Kallihal circle of Bhadravati taluk, Manjula, Anju of Birur of Kadur taluk, Punya Bai of Machenahalli of Bhadravati taluk are known to have died.
Badagi station cops visited the place.
