Shivamogga: Ex-Speaker D H Shankarmurthy has appealed to the Prime Minister to honour Ex-Deputy Prime Minister, Senior Leader of BJP, Lal Krishna Advani ji with Bharat Ratna Award.
In context with the birth day of Advani, D H Shankarmurthy has written a letter to The Prime Minister, which runs as follows as it is:
“As all of us know, Mr.Lal Krishna Advani ji has served in Social service for all most seven decades. The sacrifice and contribution of Sri Lal Krishna Advani ji is immense for our country. His service to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party is awesome.
His loyalty, honesty, leadership qualities, knowledge and experience have all enhanced our country’s reputation in the country and International affairs.
Sri Advani ji is the pride of our country. His service in the social field is immense. I had good rapport with Mr. Lal Krishna Advani ji. I had been translating his speeches for all most 50 years.It is my impression that Sri Lal Krishna Advani ji is the greatest by all means to be awarded the Bharat Ratna Award.
I request you to give Bharat Ratna award to Sri Lal Krishna Advani ji on behalf of thousands of people in Karnataka.
