On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas and Hospital Day Celebration, a blood donation camp was organized today at the South Western Railway Central Hospital in collaboration with SDJCM Rashtrotthana Blood Bank, Hubballi.
Shri Mukul Saran Mathur General Manager, donated blood and addressed the gathering. He stated that blood donation is a vital service, as there is a significant need for blood during emergencies and accidents. He emphasized that donating blood helps save lives, and every drop of blood acts as a lifesaving elixir (Sanjeevini) for those in need.
The camp witnessed active participation from railway employees as well as members of the public, who came forward to donate blood.
Participating in the event were Shri K.S. Jain Additional General Manager, Shri T.V. Bhushan and Shri Prem Chand Harijan Additional Divisional Railway Managers of Hubballi Division, Dr. Ramakrishna Mane Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr. Suresh Babu Additional Medical Superintendent, and Dr. Malathi along with several senior officers, medical staff, and hospital employees, all of whom actively contributed to the success of the camp.
As part of the event Rangoli, craft, and painting exhibitions were also organized, at the end of the event certificates of appreciation were distributed to the blood donors.
