Zee Kannada, which continues to entertain audiences with fresh and engaging content and has earned the No.1 position, is set to surprise viewers once again at the start of 2026. Its brand-new fiction drama Krishna Rukku, revolving around love, revenge and the play of destiny, will premiere from March 9 at 6:30 PM on Zee Kannada and Kannada Zee5.
Blending family values, responsibility and love with unexpected twists, Krishna Rukku brings to screen an emotionally engaging narrative. The story beautifully portrays the challenges faced by Rukku, who shoulders the responsibility of her entire family after the untimely demise of her elder brother. How Krishna and Rukku’s lives unfold amid love, hatred and destiny forms another intriguing aspect of the show, promising gripping drama for viewers.
Mouna Guddemane plays the role of Rukku, while Akshay Nayak essays the character of Krishna. Adding further strength to the ensemble is veteran filmmaker, producer, writer and actor S Narayan, who plays the pivotal role of Surya Prakash. Popular actress Suchitra makes her comeback to Kannada television after several years. The show also features singer Naveen Sajju and many other talented artists, enhancing the depth of the narrative. Produced by Dileep Raj and Srividya under the banner of Dhriti Creations, Krishna Rukku promises compelling storytelling, strong performances and high production values.
