Hyderabad emerges as a key destination for luxury spirits as AODH, WOODBURNS, and YELLO make their debut
ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd., the super-premium and luxury spirits subsidiary of Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited, has officially forayed into the Telangana market with the launch of three distinguished whiskies — AODH Irish Whiskey, WOODBURNS Contemporary Rare Indian Whisky, and YELLO Designer Whisky. The company is co-founded by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.
The launch marks a significant milestone in ABD Maestro’s expansion strategy, positioning Telangana as a key growth market for luxury spirits. AODH Irish Whiskey brings a classic touch to the portfolio, crafted through a triple-distillation process that ensures a smooth and refined drinking experience. WOODBURNS Contemporary Rare Indian Whisky stands as a proud Indian offering, having earned international recognition, including the prestigious Revelation Blended Whisky Award and Grand Gold at the 27th Spirit Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2025.
Meanwhile, YELLO Designer Whisky introduces a bold, contemporary approach with its unique cross-continental blend of Scotch and Indian malts, designed for modern consumers seeking innovation and style.
Announcing the launch at a high-profile event in Hyderabad, Bikram Basu, Managing Director of ABD Maestro, emphasized the importance of Telangana in the company’s growth journey. He noted that Hyderabad, in particular, has evolved into a sophisticated market where consumers increasingly prefer high-quality, premium spirits over conventional options. In terms of availability, all three whiskies have been rolled out across leading retail outlets in Hyderabad. AODH Irish Whiskey is priced at ₹3,470, WOODBURNS Contemporary Rare Indian Whisky at ₹2,500, and YELLO Designer Whisky at ₹2,630 for a 750 ml bottle. The products will also be featured in select premium bars and restaurants, further enhancing their accessibility among discerning consumers.
