Chief Minister Siddaramaiah instructed to carry out the works of current year’s action plan of Kalyan Karnataka Region Development Board on a war footing .
He was speaking at the review meeting of Kalyan Karnataka Region Development Board today.
Rs. 2106 crore is currently available in the board. Rs.757.66 crore has been spent after the government came to power. It is aimed to spend Another thousand crore rupees by the end of this financial year. The CM said that the chairman of the board, all the district in-charge ministers and senior officers of Kalyan Karnataka must act in a coordinated manner.
He asked the ministers to review the progress regularly and delayed projects should be implemented quickly. He suggested to review and change the works that have not commenced and spend the grant on time. He instructed them to prepare a road map for implementation of works and act accordingly.
He suggested that the next year’s action plan be formulated by the end of March. He instructed to develop areas with more than 50% Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe population under SCSP / T.S.P.
All the works in progress should be completed this year itself. He suggested that the previous year’s works should be completed as soon as possible.
KKR DB Chairman Ajay Singh, Ministers Sharan Prakash Patil, Ishwar Khandre, Jameer Ahmed Khan, Sharanbasappa Darshanapur, Priyanka Kharge, Shivraj Thangadagi, Bose Raju, Rahim Khan, D. Sudhakar along with Chief Minister’s Political Adviser B.R Patil, Economic Adviser Basavaraja Rayareddy, Political Secretaries Govindaraju, Naseer Ahmed participated in the meeting. Additional Chief Secretary to the Government L.K Ateeq and other senior officers were present.
