PES Institute of Technology and Management #PESITM conducted Mock CET 2026 on March 30 at the PESITM Campus, Shivamogga, aimed at enhancing the preparedness of students appearing for the KCET examination.
The program witnessed active participation from 400+ students representing Shivamogga, neighbouring districts and Bengaluru along with their parents.
The programme commenced with introduction to the Mock CET 2026 by Mrs. Pooja Gowda, Career Development Centre, PES Trust, followed by invocation from PESITM Student Ananya.
Delivering the welcome address, Dr. Swamy D. R., Principal of PESITM, welcomed the gathering and underscored the importance of structured preparation and continuous self-assessment in competitive examinations. He highlighted that the mock CET conducted through the “Test My Skills” platform serves as a reliable mechanism for evaluating performance, identifying learning gaps and refining exam strategies.
The formal inauguration of the program was marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
Addressing the participants, Mr. Sarang, Co-founder of Zysk Technologies, elaborated on the capabilities of the AI-driven “Test My Skills” platform. He explained that features such as subject-wise mock tests and detailed performance analytics enable students to identify weak areas, prioritize learning and build confidence for the examination.
In his presidential address, Dr. Nagaraja R., Registrar, PES Trust, emphasized the significance of goal setting, disciplined study habits and effective time management. He encouraged students to adopt a consistent approach towards preparation and develop analytical thinking skills for success in KCET and other competitive exams.
The program was concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Sekar R., Vice-Principal of PESITM, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, organizers, students and parents for their enthusiastic participation.
