The 11th International Day of Yoga was celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation at the Central Workshops, Mysuru South, on 21st June 2025. The event was conducted in alignment with the national theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, highlighting the significance of holistic wellness through yoga.
The celebration aimed to encourage physical fitness, mental clarity, and a balanced lifestyle among employees and their families. The event was presided over by Shri V.K. Chadha, Chief Workshop Manager, who, along with senior officers, staff members, and their families, actively participated in the yoga session—demonstrating the growing awareness and commitment to well-being within the railway community.
As a part of the program, Dr. Manu, a certified Yoga Instructor from Heartfulness, conducted a guided yoga session in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) prescribed by the Ministry of Ayush. The session featured foundational yoga asanas, breathing techniques (pranayama), and guided meditation practices that were accessible and beneficial to participants of all age groups.
This celebration stands as a reaffirmation of the Central Workshop’s dedication to employee welfare and underlines the importance of integrating mental and physical health practices into daily life.
