To manage the increased passenger rush, East Coast Railway has announced the extension of services for the Bhubaneswar–Yesvantpur Weekly Summer Special trains.
Train No. 02811 Bhubaneswar–Yesvantpur Weekly Special, which operates on Saturdays and was earlier scheduled to run until June 27, 2026, will now continue its services from July 4 to August 29, 2026.
Railway authorities have clarified that there will be no changes in the timings, stoppages, or coach composition of these trains.
However, due to Non-Interlocking (NI) work at the KSR Bengaluru Yard, Train No. 02811 departing from Bhubaneswar on August 29, 2026, will be short-terminated at Yelahanka. Likewise, Train No. 02812 departing from Yesvantpur on August 31, 2026, will originate from Yelahanka instead of Yesvantpur. Consequently, both trains will remain partially cancelled between Yesvantpur and Yelahanka on the respective dates.
