Legal action will be taken if any provocative statement is made on a social media

Shivamogga: The Superintendent of Police has warned that legal action will be initiated if any provocative message or statement is posted on social media networking sites.

The District Police Department released public notice that, Any person found to be posting / forwarding inflammatory post using Social media such as Facebook, Whats app and Twitter and any other social media, which might lead to communal disharmony and thus affecting public peace and tranquility will be dealt with as per law.

Hence all group admins of Whats app are here by instructed to give proper warning to all the group members regarding posting / forwarding inflammatory messages through Whats app.
