To clear the extra rush of passengers in view of the Independence Day holiday, South Western Railway will run a special express train service between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru and Bidar for one trip in each direction.
Train No. 06519 SMVT Bengaluru – Bidar Express Special on 14th August 2025 (Thursday), departing from SMVT Bengaluru at 09:15 p.m. and reaching Bidar at 11:30 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 06520 Bidar – SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will run on 15th August 2025 (Friday), departing from Bidar at 02:30 p.m. and reaching SMVT Bengaluru at 04:30 a.m. the following day.
En route, Train No. 06519 will stop at Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Krishna, Yadgir, Wadi, Shahabad, Kalaburagi, Humnabad before reaching Bidar. The return service, Train No. 06520, will halt at the same stations in reverse order.
The train will comprise 22 coaches including 20 Second Class Sleeper coaches and 2 Second Class Luggage-cum-Disabled Coaches.
