Bengaluru: The two-day Dancejathre organized by the state’s famous Shambhavi School of Dance will be held in Bengaluru for two days from today.
Combining the beauty of Nature, Art and Divinity, Shambhavi School of Dance is all set to launch the 8th edition of dancejathre in the beautiful ambience of Shankaraa Foundation, Bengaluru. dancejathre is a ceremonial affair, where one meets the cultural side of oneself. A brainchild of danseuse Vyjayanthi Kashi, it disseminates various kinds of dance forms catering to individuals with any or no proficiency level.
The two-day event being held on 26th and 27th January will have a slew of programmes like Competitions, Workshops, Scintillating Performances by famed dancers of India and a Photo Exhibition.
To promote young and budding talent dancejathre calls for applications for Solo (Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Category) and Group (Junior and Senior Category) Competitions. The competitions are open to Individuals, Dance institutions, Schools, Colleges, Universities and Companies.
To fill the vacuum between the dancer and spectator, 13 workshops are being held over a period of two days atdancejathre 2019. Workshops are open to those who want to start afresh or hone their current skills. If you are an artist or a performer, you will have a rare opportunity to grow and learn from expert’s work and enrich your body movements.
