Cycle Rally Organized by South Western Railway, Mysuru Division on World Bicycle Day

On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, South Western Railway, Mysuru Division, successfully organized a Cycle Rally on 3rd June 2025 to promote environmental awareness and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

The rally commenced at 07:00 AM from Chamundi Club, with enthusiastic participation from Branch Officers and staff of the division. The event was flagged off in the presence of Shri Mudit Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru, who also actively participated in the rally motivating and inspiring the staff by leading from the front.
The cyclists followed the designated route:

Chamundi Club, Mysuru Railway Station, Ashoka Road, Palace Circle, K. R. Circle, Devaraj Urs Road, and concluded the rally at Mysuru Railway Station.

The event saw active participation from Shri Vinayak R Nayak, ADRM Mysuru, along with other officers and staff of the division. The rally received an overwhelming response and served as a strong reminder of the importance of eco-friendly practices and fitness in daily life. It also reflected the division’s continued commitment to sustainability, public engagement, and a healthier future.
