Nestlé India reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability, especially in strengthening its dairy value chain. Nestlé India has reported a robust performance for the first quarter of FY2026–27, with strong volume-led growth driving overall sales and profitability. The company’s Board of Directors approved the quarterly results, highlighting a solid start to the financial year.
Chairman and Managing Director Manish Tiwary stated that Nestlé India delivered a strong quarter with sales growing 25.4% to ₹6,363.3 crore, supported by sustained consumer trust and effective execution strategies. Export performance also remained strong, registering a 35.6% growth despite global geopolitical challenges.
The company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹975.1 crore, marking a significant 47.9% increase compared to the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin stood at a healthy 24.2%, even as the company increased advertising and brand investments by over 40%.
Strong Performance Across Segments
All four major product groups recorded strong double-digit growth during the quarter:
Confectionery: Continued strong volume growth, driven by premiumisation and e-commerce expansion. KITKAT further gained market share.
Powdered & Liquid Beverages: Marked its 20th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, led by higher coffee consumption and premium offerings like NESCAFÉ GOLD.
