A Daughter’s Victory Built on Her Mother’s Sacrifice
Born into a humble family in Udupi, Spoorthi’s childhood was far from comfortable. Her mother worked as a housekeeping staff member at KMC Hospital, Manipal, performing the physically demanding job of cleaning hospital corridors and wards to support the family.
As her mother toiled tirelessly and her father silently carried the burden of financial hardships, Spoorthi witnessed their sacrifices every day. Countless nights ended in tears, but instead of allowing those tears to weaken her, she turned them into the fuel that drove her dreams.
Despite severe financial challenges, she never gave up. Determined to honour her parents’ sacrifices, she worked relentlessly and completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA). Today, she serves in the Marketing Department at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), proving that dedication and perseverance can change lives.
