ಭಾರತದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ (Neeraj Chopra) ನೀರಜ್ ಚೋಪ್ರಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಪುಲ್ಲೇಲ ಗೋಪಿಚಂದ್ (Pullela Gopichand) ಅವರ ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್ ಗುರುಕುಲ (Badminton Gurukula) ಹಾಗೂ AISTS ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ‘ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಆಫ್ ಕೋಚಿಂಗ್ ಎಕ್ಸಲೆನ್ಸ್’ (ISCE) ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿವೆ.

ವಿಶ್ವದರ್ಜೆಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ISCE, ಕೇವಲ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ತರಬೇತಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ, ದೈಹಿಕ ಸಾಕ್ಷರತೆ, ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ತರಬೇತುದಾರರಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ತರಬೇತಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತು

ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸಲು ISCE ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯವರೆಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಪರಿಣತಿಯನ್ನು ತರಬೇತುದಾರರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತರಬೇತಿಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ (SAI), ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟಗಳು, ಸಂಘ-ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಉನ್ನತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ISCE ನಿಕಟವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

ISCE ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪದ್ಮಭೂಷಣ, ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಗಾಗಿ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಸಮಿತಿ (IOC) ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಪುಲ್ಲೇಲ ಗೋಪಿಚಂದ್, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುವ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಅನುಭವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವೇ ISCE ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ತರಬೇತುದಾರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಹಕರಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯಲು ISCE ನೆರವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ವಿಜೇತರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ತರಬೇತುದಾರರಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವದರ್ಜೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ最新 ಜ್ಞಾನ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಬೇಕು. ವಿಶ್ವ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲೀನ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ತರಬೇತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದು ISCEಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

New Delhi: In a major step towards strengthening India’s sports ecosystem, the Neeraj Chopra Foundation, Pullela Gopichand’s Badminton Gurukul and AISTS India have jointly announced the launch of the Indian School of Coaching Excellence (ISCE).

The initiative aims to develop world-class coaches by providing comprehensive training that goes beyond technical skills. ISCE will focus on physical literacy, sports science, sports management, technology and professional development.

The institution will offer multidisciplinary programmes designed to equip coaches with the skills needed to meet the evolving demands of high-performance sports.

ISCE will also work closely with government institutions, the Sports Authority of India (SAI), National Sports Federations, sports organisations, high-performance centres, educational institutions and the private sector to promote knowledge sharing and excellence in sports coaching across the country.

Speaking about the initiative, Padma Bhushan and Dronacharya Award winner Pullela Gopichand said India’s sporting future depends on the strength of the system it builds. He said ISCE would combine global best practices with Indian experience and help coaches continuously improve their skills, collaborate and progress with confidence.

Neeraj Chopra, founder of the Neeraj Chopra Foundation and World and Olympic javelin champion, said coaches play a crucial role in every athlete’s success.

“Behind every successful athlete is the guidance and care of a dedicated coach,” Chopra said, stressing the importance of providing coaches with world-class education, mentorship and the latest knowledge in sports science.

The ISCE aims to create a strong coaching ecosystem that can support India’s long-term success on the global sporting stage. The initiative seeks to ensure that every aspiring champion has access to skilled coaching and every coach has access to world-class knowledge and opportunities.
