ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋವುಗಳ ಕಳ್ಳಸಾಗಾಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನೂನು-ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ (B.Y. Vijayendra) ಶಾಸಕ ಬಿ.ವೈ. ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ (Shivamogga) ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹರತಾಳು ಸಮೀಪ ಗೋವುಗಳ ಕಳ್ಳಸಾಗಾಟ ತಡೆಯಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳಿಂದ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಜರಂಗದಳದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಧೈರ್ಯ ತುಂಬಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಘಟನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತೀವ್ರ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಹಿಂದುತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರು ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು-ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಇಚ್ಛಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
“ನಾನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಸಾಲದು. ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಗೋವುಗಳ ಕಳ್ಳಸಾಗಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿರುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ಜಾಮೀನು ಸಿಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇಂತಹ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೂ ವಾಹನ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸದೆ ಪರಾರಿ
ಘಟನೆ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ, ನಿನ್ನೆ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ ಹರತಾಳು ಸಮೀಪ ಕೆಲವು ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಚಂದನ್ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಿಕಪ್ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬಜರಂಗದಳದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಚಂದನ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಜಾಗೃತರಾಗಿ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಚಂದನ್, ಕಿರಣ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಭಿಲಾಷ್ ಅವರು ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಪಿಕಪ್ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕದ್ದು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಪಾಸಣೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸದೆ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬಜರಂಗದಳದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾರಣಾಂತಿಕ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಗಂಭೀರ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು-ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿದರ್ಶನವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು.
ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿ
ಗೋವುಗಳ ಕಳ್ಳಸಾಗಾಟವನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕಾನೂನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮುಲಾಜಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

“ಇಂತಹ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರುಕಳಿಸಿದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕಾನೂನು-ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕೈಮೀರಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಬಹುದು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
Take Cow Smuggling Seriously: B.Y. Vijayendra Urges Karnataka Government
Shikaripura, Shivamogga: BJP Karnataka State President B.Y. Vijayendra has urged the state government to take the alleged cow smuggling incident near Haratalu in Shivamogga district seriously and initiate stringent action against those involved.
Vijayendra visited a hospital in Shikaripura and met the Bajrang Dal activists who were injured while allegedly attempting to stop the transportation of cattle. He enquired about their health and assured them of support.
Speaking to the media after meeting the injured activists, Vijayendra said the Chief Minister, who speaks about Hindutva, and the Home Minister must immediately take note of the incident and ensure that such incidents do not recur.
“If the government is serious about maintaining law and order in the state, it must treat this incident seriously,” Vijayendra said.
He added that he had already spoken to the Shivamogga Superintendent of Police and local police officials regarding the incident.
Strict Action Demanded
According to Vijayendra, the vehicles allegedly used for transporting the cattle have already been seized by the police. However, he said merely seizing the vehicles would not be sufficient.
He demanded stringent legal action against the accused and urged the authorities to ensure that they do not easily obtain bail.
“Those involved must be dealt with firmly. Strict action should be taken so that such incidents are not repeated,” Vijayendra said.
He warned that repeated incidents of this nature could have serious implications for law and order in the state.
What Happened Near Haratalu?
Vijayendra said that the incident occurred around midnight near Haratalu, when some miscreants allegedly attempted to load cattle from the house of a person named Chandan and transport them in a pickup vehicle.
Chandan, along with Bajrang Dal activists Kiran and Abhilash, reportedly noticed the incident and chased the vehicle.
The vehicle was allegedly carrying cattle after they had been stolen. Vijayendra also claimed that the vehicle did not stop at a police checking point and attempted to flee.
Activists Allegedly Attacked
Vijayendra alleged that the accused attempted to launch a serious attack on the Bajrang Dal activists who were pursuing the vehicle.
He termed the incident a serious indication of the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the state and urged the government to take immediate and firm action.
Vijayendra reiterated that the government must remain vigilant and ensure that incidents related to cattle smuggling do not recur in the state.
