ಈದ್ ಮಿಲಾದ್ (Eid Milad) ಹಬ್ಬದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (Shivamogga) ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಮು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಕ್ ರ್ಯಾಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವುದು, ಕಲರ್ ಪೇಪರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಡಿಮದ್ದು ಸಿಡಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಭುಲಿಂಗ ಕವಳಿಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧದ ಆದೇಶವು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 25ರಿಂದ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 28, 2026ರವರೆಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿದೆ.

ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 26ರಂದು ಈದ್ ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಪ್ರದೇಶವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಹಿತಕರ ಘಟನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕಲರ್ ಪೇಪರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್, ಸಿಡಿಮದ್ದಿನಿಂದ ಆತಂಕ
ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲರ್ ಪೇಪರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಡಿಮದ್ದುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಸಾಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಆತಂಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ವರದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಫಾರಸಿನ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಈ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ, 1963ರ ಕಲಂ 35 ಮತ್ತು 36ರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿರುವ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈದ್ ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಉಂಟಾಗದಂತೆ, ಕೋಮು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೈಕ್ ರ್ಯಾಲಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧ
ನಿರ್ಬಂಧದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿಷೇಧ:
- ಬೈಕ್ ರ್ಯಾಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವುದು
- ಕಲರ್ ಪೇಪರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುವುದು
- ಸಿಡಿಮದ್ದು ಸಿಡಿಸುವುದು

ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಗರಿಕರು, ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಯೋಜಕರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಿ, ಈದ್ ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಚೋದನಕಾರಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗದೇ, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಗಾ ವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಯಾವುದೇ ವದಂತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಾಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Eid Milad in Shivamogga: DC Bans Bike Rallies, Colour Paper Blasting and Firecrackers
Shivamogga: The Shivamogga district administration has imposed a ban on bike rallies, colour paper blasting and bursting of firecrackers during Eid Milad celebrations, citing the need to maintain peace, public order and communal harmony.
The order has been issued by Shivamogga Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Prabhulinga Kavalikatti. The restrictions will remain in force across the district from August 25 to August 28, 2026.
Eid Milad celebrations are scheduled to be held on August 26, and the district administration has taken the precautionary measure considering Shivamogga’s sensitivity and the need to prevent any untoward incidents.
Precautionary measure
According to the official order, the use of colour paper blasting and firecrackers during celebrations and processions could potentially cause damage to places of worship located along procession routes and hurt the sentiments of other communities.
The action was taken based on a report and recommendation submitted by the Superintendent of Police, the order stated.
Restrictions under Karnataka Police Act
The Deputy Commissioner has exercised powers under Sections 35 and 36 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963, to impose the restrictions in the interest of public safety and to prevent any disturbance to law and order.
Bike rallies, colour paper blasting and bursting of firecrackers are banned during Eid Milad celebrations.
