ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ (Yesvantpur) ಯಶವಂತಪುರ–ವಿಜಯಪುರ (Vijayapura) ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಾಪ್ತಾಹಿಕ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನೈಋತ್ಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ (SWR) ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ರೈಲುಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿ, ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೋಗಿಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 06577 ಯಶವಂತಪುರ–ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಸಾಪ್ತಾಹಿಕ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ 31 ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 2026ರವರೆಗೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಇದೀಗ ಈ ರೈಲಿನ ಸಂಚಾರ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 5, 2026ರಿಂದ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 28, 2026ರವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ, ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 06578 ವಿಜಯಪುರ–ಯಶವಂತಪುರ ಸಾಪ್ತಾಹಿಕ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2026ರವರೆಗೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿಗದಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಇದೀಗ ಈ ರೈಲಿನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 6, 2026ರಿಂದ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 29, 2026ರವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಎರಡೂ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಲಾ 13 ಟ್ರಿಪ್
ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲಾದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಎರಡೂ ಸಾಪ್ತಾಹಿಕ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳು ಎರಡೂ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲಾ 13 ಬಾರಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲಿವೆ.
ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಯಶವಂತಪುರ–ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ರೈಲುಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಮಯ, ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳ ನಿಲುಗಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೋಗಿಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಯಥಾಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲಿದೆ.
SWR : Yesvantpur–Vijayapura Special Trains Extended Till November 2026
Bengaluru: To manage the additional rush of passengers, the operating period of the weekly express special trains between Yesvantpurand Vijayapura has been extended. The trains will continue to operate with their existing timings, stoppages and coach composition.
Train No. 06577: Yeshwantpur–Vijayapura
Train No. 06577 Yesvantpur–Vijayapura Weekly Express Special, which was earlier scheduled to operate until August 31, 2026, will now continue from September 5, 2026, to November 28, 2026.
Train No. 06578: Vijayapura–Yesvantpur
Similarly, Train No. 06578 Vijayapura–Yesvantpur Weekly Express Special, which was earlier scheduled to run until September 1, 2026, has been extended from September 6, 2026, to November 29, 2026.
13 Trips in Each Direction
During the extended period, both special trains will operate 13 trips each in both directions, providing additional travel options for passengers.
The railway authorities have stated that the existing timings, scheduled stoppages and coach composition of the special trains will remain unchanged during the extended period.
The extension is expected to provide relief to passengers travelling between Yesvantpur, Vijayapura and other destinations along the route, particularly during periods of increased passenger demand.
