ಬಂಜಾರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೌಕರರು (Railway Employees) ಸಂಘಟಿತರಾಗಿ ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗೀಣ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಭೆಯ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶಿವರಾಮ ರಾಠೋಡ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ (Hubballi) ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ನಗರದ ಗದಗ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಡೌನ್ ಚಾಳ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯ ಸಂತ ಶ್ರೀ ಸೇವಾಲಾಲ್ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬಂಜಾರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೌಕರರ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಂಜಾರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೌಕರರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಮನ್ವಯದಿಂದ ಸಂಘಟಿತರಾಗಬೇಕು. ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನೌಕರರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಶಿವರಾಮ ರಾಠೋಡ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲು ಕರೆ

ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮುಖಂಡ ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ನಾಯಕ, ನೌಕರರು ಕೇವಲ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬಂಜಾರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೌಕರರು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಡಿ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿ, ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿ ಕಷ್ಟ-ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಅವರ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ನೌಕರರ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ನಾಯಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ

ಬಂಜಾರ ಕ್ಷೇಮಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ ಎಂದು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದು, ನೌಕರರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಜದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮುಖಂಡರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳಕಳಿಯಿಂದ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಂಘಟನೆ, ನೌಕರರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಹಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Hubballi: Banjara Railway Employees Urged to Unite for Rights and Community Welfare

Hubballi: Banjara community railway employees should come together under a single platform to protect their rights and contribute to the overall development of the organisation and the community, said Shivaram Rathod, who chaired the preparatory meeting.

He was speaking at a preparatory meeting of Banjara community railway employees held at Sant Shri Sevalal Mandir in Down Chawl Railway Colony on Gadag Road, Hubballi.

Shivaram Rathod said Banjara railway employees working in various positions across the Hubballi, Bengaluru and Mysuru divisions should work together with better coordination. An organised platform would help employees discuss their issues and take appropriate steps to safeguard their rights and interests, he said.

Call for Greater Focus on Social Welfare

Senior community leader R.R. Nayak urged railway employees to look beyond their individual interests and actively participate in social welfare initiatives.

He called upon Banjara railway employees across the Hubballi, Bengaluru and Mysuru divisions to unite under one platform and contribute to the educational, social and economic development of the community.

He also stressed the importance of standing by colleagues during difficult times. The entire community should come forward to support employees facing hardships, while ensuring that the welfare and well-being of fellow employees remain a collective responsibility, he said.

Appreciation for Independent Functioning

The speakers appreciated the Banjara Welfare Development Organisation for functioning in an open and independent manner without yielding to vested interests.

They emphasised the need for unity and collective efforts for the development of the community. Along with their professional responsibilities, employees should also contribute towards social welfare and community development, the speakers said.

Community-Minded Individuals Felicitated

During the programme, individuals who have demonstrated concern for the community and actively contributed to social welfare activities were felicitated and honoured.

The meeting also discussed issues concerning railway employees, mutual support, community organisation and various social welfare initiatives that could be undertaken in the future.
