While preaching Bhagavath Gita to Arjun, Lord Krishna called him ‘Hey Gudakeshi’. Gudakeshin means one who has controlled sleep. The one who has true workmanship and are principled life become capable of controlling sleep. If sleep is controlled forcefully then the person will suffer from sleep deprivation.
I’m not writing this article to praise Prime Minister Modi, but only referring him as an example for sleep controlling capacity. If we too imbibe this character, then we would be able to support Prime Minister in his mission. Narendra Modi is not sleep deprived. When we are totally engrossed in work we don’t feel sleepy. However, when sleep in disturbed, ill-health is caused. This causes agitation within the body. We feel agitated only when we don’t get what we want.
Presently Siddharamayya needs only sleep. When his sleep is disturbed by activities of Modi, he not only curses but also his sleep and health both get disturbed. But Modi is like Arjuna. He loves ‘karma’, the work, he is principled in his life and has a developmental perspective for the country. Hence he will not have any health ailments because of lack of sleep. That is why Lord Krishna chose such people only to eliminate evil forces and hence filled them with enthusiasm to go for a war.
See the case of Siddharamayya on the other hand! He is always in drowsy mood even on the stage and many a times he criticizes his own party. Just imagine, what if such people are filled with energy to go for a fight?!
Lord Krishna gave worth suggestions on right time to good people only and he didn’t tell any good things to evil people. But that work was done by Narada, another form of God. He slandered and enthused evil forces to go for war and hence was successful in destroying them. Modi has not worked for sixteen hours to get appreciation or to get another term as Prime Minister. It is just because of his principles and love for work. That is why he won over sleep.
Such people like Siddharamayya who spend most of the time in sleep will finally suffer from more and more sleep deprivation and hence a day may come very soon when we will see them consuming sleeping pills.
Sri Narendra Modi is not like that. He has won over sleep in the past, present and even in future. That’s why we can rightly call him the ‘Gudakeshi of Kaliyug’ .
