Medicover Hospital, Whitefield, organized a Walkathon on the occasion of World Heart Day. The objective of the event was to create awareness about heart health and promote preventive lifestyle practices.
The walkathon was flagged off at 6:30 AM from the hospital premises, with enthusiastic participation from doctors, hospital staff, and community members. The walkathon covered a distance of 2 km.
Mr. Krishna Murthy, Unit Head, delivered the welcome address, while Dr. Naga Srinivas highlighted the importance of World Heart Day and the purpose of the walkathon. Eminent cardiologists Dr. Raghavendra Chikkatoor and Dr. Major Jayaprasada also actively participated in the event.
