Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah, stated in an interview with the news agency ANI’s podcast on Thursday that, ‘The Modi government, ‘The Modi government will grant citizenship to all eligible refugees. CAA is a law to grant citizenship, not to take it away.’
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government had mentioned in its 2019 Lok Sabha election manifesto about implementing the CAA and under the skilled guidance of Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah, the CAA was implemented across the country before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is evident from this that CAA is a matter of empathy for the BJP, not for political gain. From Rahul Gandhi to Owaisi and from Arvind Kejriwal to Mamata Banerjee, leaders of all opposition parties are engaging in the politics of lies.

The people of the country have understood that the Citizenship Amendment Act is about giving rights to millions of refugees who came from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh before December 31, 2014, providing them relief from their suffering and ensuring justice for their three generations, which the Congress never did. It has also been evident since the implementation of this law that Modi-Shah has worked to end the 75-year-long suffering of refugees.

In order to decisively defeat the opposition in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Chanakya of Indian politics has once again entered the field with the achievements of the Modi government. The opposition parties also know that when Shah enters the arena, the lotus blooms for sure. The ‘Amit Shah factor’ is sufficient to achieve victory in any election for the Bharatiya Janata Party. Based on the achievements of the past 10 years, the people of the country have once again made up their minds to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister.
