Committee on Public Undertakings Visits Pavagada Solar Park

A delegation led by the Chairperson of the Committee on Public Undertakings, Mr. Tanveer Sait, visited the Pavagada Solar Park on Wednesday.

The delegation included Mr. T.D. Rajegowda, MLA and Chairperson of KREDL, along with MLAs Mr. U.B. Banakar, Mr. D.G. Shanthanagowda, Mr. H.V. Venkatesh, and MLCs Ms. Umashree and Ms. Bharti Shetty. During the visit, officials provided an overview of the park’s features and operations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tanveer Sait emphasized the importance of prioritizing research and development in the energy sector. “Pavagada Solar Park serves as a model for solar energy development. Similar large-scale solar parks should be established in other parts of the state,” he stated.
