Bengaluru: Quarantine has given me more energy to deliver during this hour of crisis, says Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. Speaking at a press conference along with Minister Basavaraj Bommai and C.T.Ravi, Dr.Sudhakar has said he was aware that he will be tested negative for Corona. But the rules should not be different for the Minister and the common man. Hence forth he will work with enhanced energy and more enthusiasm.
It’s a good experience to have self-quarantine. I used to work from the home attending meetings and taking stock of the situation as district in-charge Minister, Said Dr.Sudhakar. The government has given a good economic relief package and we are exploring ways to give even better in the future, he said. He also urged that easing lock down does not mean that there is no Corona in the state. But it is unavoidable to live with the virus. People should exercise proper precautionary measures and stay safe, he said.
Earlier all the Minister had attended a grocery distribution function at Hebbal on 22 April, where he came into contact with infected journalist. As a doctor and wearing a proper mask, Dr.Sudhakar said he was aware that he will be tested negative for the virus. The Minister had thanked all those who wished him during the quarantine period and requested journalists to work more carefully.
