In a shocking incident reported from Tippu Nagar area of Shivamogga, two brothers were allegedly attacked with knives by a group of youths on Tuesday evening.
According to initial reports, the victims — Rehmat Ulla (popularly known as “Dollar”) and his brother Nyamat Ulla — were assaulted by a gang that arrived on three two-wheelers. The attackers reportedly used sharp weapons, causing serious injuries to both.
The incident occurred near Gousia Circle in Tippu Nagar, but came to light only later in the evening.
Both injured victims were immediately shifted to McGann Hospital in Shivamogga, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Preliminary allegations suggest that the attack may have been carried out by Asif from Millaghat and a group of associates. However, the exact motive behind the assault is yet to be determined.
Police from Tunganagar Police Station have launched an investigation and are verifying the details surrounding the incident.
