The South Western Railway Bengaluru Division celebrated the 12th International Yoga Day with a mass yoga demonstration held at the Railway Grounds in M.G. Colony on Sunday.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from railway officials, staff and their family members, highlighting the growing awareness about health and wellness.

Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Railway Manager Ashutosh Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life. He stated that yoga not only promotes physical fitness but also enhances mental well-being and inner peace.
The yoga session was conducted under the guidance of Art of Living trainer Kishore and his team. Participants were led through various yoga asanas, Surya Namaskar and pranayama techniques.
Senior divisional officials, including Senior Deputy General Manager Manoj Kumar, Principal Chief Safety Officer M. Ramakrishna, Additional Divisional Railway Managers Parikshit Mohan Puriya and Praveen Katarki, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Uma Sharma, Venkatesh Nayak and Railway Women’s Welfare Organization President Reena Singh, along with other officials, staff and students, were present at the event.
