P. Ananth, General Manager, South Western Railway, along with Navid Talib, CME/CN/BNC, Shammas Hameed, ADRM/Mysuru Division, Shri Sandeep Kumar Verma, Chief Workshop Manager, Mysuru Workshop, and Shri Bhesh Dutt, Deputy Chief Workshop Manager, visited the Central Workshop, Mysuru, for a detailed inspection.
During the visit, the General Manager inspected various key shops including the Wheel Shop, Bogie Repair Shop, Carriage Body Repair & Heavy Corrosion Shop, Air Brake & AC Shops, and Paint & Trimming Shops. He reviewed the ongoing maintenance and production activities, assessed quality and safety standards, and emphasized the importance of ensuring timely completion of works while maintaining operational excellence.
The General Manager also interacted with the workshop employees, listened to their grievances, and assured them of appropriate action for resolution. He appreciated the dedication and efforts of the staff in maintaining high standards of performance.

Subsequently, a review meeting was held with officers to assess operational efficiency, discuss key issues, and outline measures for further improvement in workshop functioning.
As part of the inspection, Shri P. Ananth also visited Mysuru Railway Station, Ashokapuram Railway Station, Mysuru New Goods Terminal, and Railway quarters at Mysuru. During this visit, Divisional Railway Manager Shri Mudit Mittal, ADRM Shri Shammas Hameed, and other Divisional officers were present.
The visit underscores the commitment of the Railway Administration towards enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring safety, and addressing employee welfare.
