ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಹಿಂದುಳಿಯಬಾರದು ಎಂದು (Soraba) ಸೊರಬದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸೊರಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂದಿನ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆದು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಭ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ಚಂದ್ರಗುತ್ತಿ ಅವರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಜಪ್ಪ ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತಮ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.

Soraba : Distributes Learning Materials to Underprivileged Students
Soraba: Economically disadvantaged students should never be left behind in education, said retired teacher and social worker Mrs. Sumitra Hegde.
Speaking after distributing educational learning materials to students from poor families in Sorab town, she highlighted the importance of education and the changes taking place in the learning process. She encouraged students to focus on their studies and wished them success in completing higher education and achieving top positions in their careers.
During the programme, Mr. Prajwal Chandragutti, President of Jnana Prabha Social Service Trust, appreciated the efforts of Mrs. Sumitra Hegde and her students for providing learning materials to needy students. He also extended his best wishes to the beneficiaries for their future academic journey.
Mr. Manjappa M.K. delivered the introductory remarks at the event, while lecturer Mr. Purushottam welcomed the gathering.
The initiative aimed to support students from economically weaker backgrounds and encourage them to continue their education with confidence and determination.
