ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಬಸ್ ಡಿವೈಡರ್ಗೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ಎರಡು ತುಂಡಾದ ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ (Accident) ಓರ್ವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, 20ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ಕೇರಳದ (Kerala) ಮಲಪ್ಪುರಂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಟ್ಟಿಪ್ಪುರಂ ಸಮೀಪ ಭಾನುವಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ತ್ರಿಶೂರ್–ಕೋಝಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡವರ ಪೈಕಿ ಮೂವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತೀವ್ರ ನಿಗಾ ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಲಭ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ತ್ರಿಶೂರ್ನಿಂದ ಕೋಝಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಬಸ್ ಮಳೆಯ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ರಸ್ತೆಯಿಂದ ಜಾರಿದ್ದು, ಚಾಲಕನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿದೆ. ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಬಸ್ ಮೊದಲು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆಟೋರಿಕ್ಷಾಗೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಆ ಬಳಿಕ, ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅಪಘಾತದಿಂದ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಖಾಲಿ ಕಾರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಸ್ ಮಗುಚಿಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ಸುದೈವಶಾತ್ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನಾಹುತ ತಪ್ಪಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಡಿವೈಡರ್ಗೆ ಭಾರೀ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬಸ್ ಎರಡು ಭಾಗಗಳಾಗಿ ಚಿದ್ರಗೊಂಡಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತದ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ಸಮೀಪದ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬಸ್ ಸುಮಾರು 25 ಮೀಟರ್ಗಳಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಸ್ಕಿಡ್ ಆಗಿ ಡಿವೈಡರ್ಗೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ಮಗುಚಿಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದು ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ನೋಡುಗರನ್ನು ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಓರ್ವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಹಲವರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ವಳಂಚೇರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಟ್ಟಕ್ಕಲ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡವರ ಪೈಕಿ ಮೂವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿದೆ. ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ವಾಹನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿರುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ರಸ್ತೆ ಜಾರುವಂತಾಗಿದ್ದುದೇ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಸ್ ಮಗುಚಿಬಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಬಸ್ನ ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಸ್ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಮಗುಚಿಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ಬಸ್ನ ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಸಾಹಸಮಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಟ್ಟಿಪ್ಪುರಂ, ವಳಂಚೇರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಕ್ಕಲ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವೈದ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕೆಲವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಿರಂತರ ನಿಗಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ.
Kerala Bus Crash: 1 Dead, 20+ Injured as Vehicle Splits in Two
Malappuram (Kerala): One person was killed and more than 20 others were injured after a private bus lost control due to heavy rain and crashed into a divider, splitting into two parts near Kuttippuram in Kerala’s Malappuram district on Sunday.
The accident occurred on the Thrissur–Kozhikode National Highway. According to reports, the condition of three of the injured is critical, and they are currently undergoing treatment in intensive care units.
Preliminary information suggests that the private bus, which was travelling from Thrissur to Kozhikode, skidded off the road due to rain, causing the driver to lose control. The bus first collided with an autorickshaw moving on the road.
After hitting the autorickshaw, the bus overturned onto a car that had already been parked on the roadside following a previous accident. Fortunately, no one was inside the car at the time, officials said. The bus then rammed into the service road divider with great force, resulting in it splitting into two parts.
The horrifying incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras. Visuals show the bus skidding nearly 25 metres before crashing into the divider and overturning. The footage has since gone viral on social media, shocking viewers.
Local residents were the first to initiate rescue efforts immediately after the accident. Police, along with fire and rescue personnel, soon arrived at the scene and carried out a joint rescue operation.
One person died at the scene in the accident. Several others were injured and are receiving treatment at hospitals in Valanchery and Kottakkal. The condition of 3 people is critical. It is said that speeding and the road being wet due to rain were the causes of the accident. Firefighters cut open the bus and rescued the passengers.
As the bus had completely overturned, several passengers were trapped inside. Rescue teams had to cut through parts of the bus using special equipment to safely evacuate the victims.
The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals in Kuttippuram, Valanchery, and Kottakkal for treatment. Doctors stated that a few victims remain in critical condition and are under close medical supervision.
