ಪೋಷಕರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓದುವಂತೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಾದ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನನೊಂದು 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ (Suicide) ಶರಣಾಗಿರುವ ದಾರುಣ ಘಟನೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (Shivamogga) ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮೃತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯನ್ನು ರೇಖಾ(ಗೌಪ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ದೃಷ್ಠಿಯಿಂದ ಹೆಸರು ಬದಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ) (14) ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಗರದ ಗೋಪಿಶೆಟ್ಟಿಕೊಪ್ಪ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ರೇಖಾಗೆ ಪೋಷಕರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓದುವಂತೆ ಪದೇಪದೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಾದ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಮನನೊಂದಿದ್ದಳು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನವಿದ್ದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡೆತ್ನೋಟ್ ಬರೆದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ಓದಿನ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಒತ್ತಡವೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಪೋಷಕರು
ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಖಾ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಳು. ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಾಧನೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಪೂಜೆ ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪೋಷಕರು ಮನೆಗೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬಂದಾಗ ರೇಖಾ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಘಟನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಡೆತ್ನೋಟ್ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ತನಿಖೆ
ಪೋಷಕರು ಓದು, ಓದು ಎಂದು ಪದೇಪದೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ತಾನು ಮನನೊಂದಿದ್ದಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಡೆತ್ನೋಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ನಿಖರ ಕಾರಣ ಏನು ಎಂಬುದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಡೆತ್ನೋಟ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ತುಂಗಾನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ನಿಖರ ಕಾರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಇತರೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತನಿಖೆಯ ಬಳಿಕವೇ ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ.
Shivamogga: 9th-Grade Student Dies by Suicide After Parents Advised Her to Study Well
A tragic incident has been reported in Shivamogga city, where a ninth-grade student allegedly died by suicide after reportedly becoming distressed over repeated advice from her parents to concentrate on her studies.
The deceased student has been identified as Rekha (name changed to protect privacy), 14. She was reportedly studying in Class 9 at a private school in Shivamogga. The incident took place at the family’s residence in the Gopishettikoppa locality of the city.
According to preliminary information, the girl’s parents had reportedly been repeatedly advising her to study well. She was said to have been upset over the issue. It is also being reported that she had left behind a death note, allegedly stating that pressure from her parents regarding her studies was the reason for her taking the extreme step.
Parents Had Taken Children to Temple
At the time of the incident, the girl was reportedly at home. Her parents had taken their two children to the Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Shivamogga to attend religious rituals, and the girl is said to have remained at home.
When the parents returned after completing the rituals, they reportedly found their daughter dead. The police were immediately informed, following which officers reached the spot and conducted an inspection.
Police Investigating Based on Death Note
It is being reported that the student mentioned in the death note that she was distressed because her parents repeatedly advised her to focus on her studies. However, the exact circumstances and cause leading to her death have not yet been officially established. Police are examining the death note and other aspects related to the incident.
A case has been registered at Tunganagar Police Station in Shivamogga, and an investigation is underway. The exact circumstances surrounding the student’s death and other details will be established based on the findings of the investigation.
