ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (Shivamogga) ನಗರದ ಗೋಪಿ ವೃತ್ತದ ಸಮೀಪದ ಸವಾರ್ಲೈನ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಮರವೊಂದು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಬುಡಮೇಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಅಡ್ಡಲಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮರ ಬೀಳುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೇ ಅದೇ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರೊಂದು ಕೂದಲೆಳೆ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಘಾತದಿಂದ ಪಾರಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಂಭವಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದ್ದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅನಾಹುತ ತಪ್ಪಿದಂತಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮರವೊಂದು ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ತೀವ್ರ ತೊಂದರೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದರು.
ಘಟನೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೆಸಿಬಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಟಿಂಗ್ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ರಸ್ತೆಗಡ್ಡೆಯಾದ ಮರದ ಕೊಂಬೆ-ರೆಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸಂಚಾರವನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Shivamogga | Massive Tree Falls Near Gopi Circle
A massive tree was suddenly uprooted and fell across the road near Gopi Circle on Savaline Road in the city, blocking the roadway.
At the time of the incident, a car passing along the same route narrowly escaped a major accident. A potentially serious mishap was thus averted.
The fallen tree completely blocked vehicular movement on the road, causing significant inconvenience to the public.
Upon receiving information about the incident, municipal corporation staff rushed to the spot and initiated clearance operations. Using a JCB and cutting machines, efforts are underway to remove the branches and restore smooth traffic movement at the earliest.
