ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (Shivamogga) ನಗರದ ಹೊಳೆ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಸಮೀಪದ ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿಗೆ (Tunga River) ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಧುಮುಕಿರುವ ಶಂಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗುರುವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ಘಟನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.

ರಬ್ಬರ್ ಬೋಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ

ಘಟನೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕೋಟೆ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸೇತುವೆ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ರಬ್ಬರ್ ಬೋಟ್ ಬಳಸಿ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ನದಿಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಪತ್ತೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ.

ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ವೇಳೆ ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿ ದಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದು ಎನ್ನಲಾದ ವೇಲ್ (ದುಪಟ್ಟಾ) ಹಾಗೂ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಲಾಕ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಗುರುತು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.

ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನದಿಗೆ ಧುಮುಕಿರುವ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ವಯಸ್ಸು ಸುಮಾರು 30ರಿಂದ 35 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಇರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಶಂಕಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ.

ಗುರುತು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿಗೂಢ

ಘಟನೆಯ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸೇತುವೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಸೇತುವೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಎರಡೂ ಸೇತುವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರ ದಟ್ಟಣೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಅಸ್ತವ್ಯಸ್ತಗೊಂಡಿತು.

ಸದ್ಯ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಪತ್ತೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಗುರುತು ಹಾಗೂ ಘಟನೆಯ ನಿಖರ ಕಾರಣ ಕುರಿತು ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ಬಳಿಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಕುರಿತು ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Woman Suspected to Have Jumped into Tunga River in Shivamogga

Shivamogga : A massive search operation is underway after a woman was suspected to have jumped into the Tunga River near the Hole Bus Stand area in Shivamogga on Thursday evening.According to police sources, the incident came to light after locals alerted authorities. Personnel from the Kote Police Station and the Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot and launched a search operation using a rubber boat in the river.

During the search, officials recovered a shawl and a mobile phone from the riverbank. However, the mobile phone is locked, making it difficult to establish the identity of the woman. Police suspect that she is between 30 and 35 years of age.

The identity of the woman and the circumstances leading to the suspected incident are yet to be ascertained. Police have initiated an investigation while the search operation continues.

The incident attracted a large crowd on the old and new Tunga River bridges, causing significant traffic congestion in the area. Traffic police were deployed to regulate vehicular movement and clear the congestion.

Authorities have stated that further details will be known after the search operation progresses and the investigation advances.
