Students of the Purna Chetana school of the city paid a tribute to the Indian soldiers who are guarding our borders through a ballet on Sunday evening at an event held at KSOU convocation hall of the city.
This ballet was part of 36 dance performances of all Indian states presented by over 550 students of the school without a break for two hours.
Through the ballet, the students presented the ultimate sacrifice made by the Indian soldiers at the country’s border in Kashmir. The students presented the challenges posed by the terrorists attacking India devotees who are part of the
Shri Amarnath yatra, and the courage of Indian soldiers who defeated them. The students offered a rich tribute to all Indian soldiers who sacrifice their present for the future of the country.
Earlier, the students presented 36 dance forms of all the states of the country reflecting the concept of unity in diversity. The dance forms of the North Eastern states mesmerized the audience. According to school CEO B Darshan Raj, the dance choreography and costumes were very new for all in Mysuru. “The choreography, costumes and every aspect was carefully curated to bring the best out of our children.” he said.
President of the school, Dr. Vidyasagar P said the idea behind this unique initiative is sending the message of unity in diversity to all and familiarising the dance forms of other states to the Mysureans.

Chief Administrative Officer of the school Madhurya Ramaswamy said our goal is making our children expose to all the dance forms of Bharat and make the culturally sensitive students.
Lau Thien Poh, Chief Executive Officer (South Asia), Elite World Records, Malaysia said it was an unique effort by the students to display such a large number of dance forms in 2 hours and making it entertaining as well is something first time I am witnessing in my life.
