ಮಹಿಳಾ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಜಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಪನಾರ್ಹ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ಎನ್ಎಸ್ಆರ್ಸಿಇಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಹಿಳಾ ನವೋದ್ಯಮ ಯೋಜನೆ (WSP)ಯ ಹೊಸ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು (Kotak BizLabs) ಕೋಟಕ್ ಮಹೀಂದ್ರಾ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ (KMBL) ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದೆ.
ಕೋಟಕ್ ಬಿಜ್ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ಸ್ನಡಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ CSR ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ತೃತೀಯ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಯಮಯಾನವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.
ಇದುವರೆಗೆ, ಸುಮಾರು 600ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉದ್ಯಮಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ 2,23,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ನಡುವೆಯೂ, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಾಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ, ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಕೊರತೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮಹಿಳಾ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ:
- ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣಾ ಹಂತ
- ಪೂರ್ವ ಇಂಕ್ಯೂಬೇಶನ್ ಹಂತ
- ಇಂಕ್ಯೂಬೇಶನ್ ಹಂತ
- ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಹಂತ
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕೋಟಕ್ ಮಹೀಂದ್ರಾ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ನ CSR ಮತ್ತು ESG ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಹಿಮಾಂಶು ನಿವ್ಸಾರ್ಕರ್, “ಬಂಡವಾಳವು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸವಾಲು ಎಂದರೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುವ ಪರಿಸರವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲು ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಎನ್ಎಸ್ಆರ್ಸಿಇಎಲ್ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ರಸಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಭಾರತದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತಾ ಅಲೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಭೌಗೋಳಿಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಬರಲಿದೆ. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ನಗರಗಳ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮಹಾನಗರಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಧ ನಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಪುನರುತ್ಪಾದಕ ಕೃಷಿ, ಸಮುದಾಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮರುಬಳಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನ್ವಯಿತ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಇದು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

2025ರಲ್ಲಿ 3 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ 30 ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆರವಾದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ನಂತರ, ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತಾ ಪರಿಸರವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಡುವಿನ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ.

Kotak BizLabs and NSRCEL Announce the Next Edition of the Women Startup Program
With the objective of providing long-term support to enhance the confidence, networks, and scalable business opportunities of women entrepreneurs, Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) has announced the new edition of the Women Startup Program (WSP), implemented by NSRCEL.
This CSR initiative under Kotak BizLabs aims to provide comprehensive support to women entrepreneurs—especially those in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities—to help them start and scale their entrepreneurial journeys.
So far, over 600 aspiring and established women entrepreneurs have benefited from mentorship and ecosystem support through this program. Despite India’s startup ecosystem growing to over 223,000 recognized startups, women entrepreneurs continue to face challenges such as limited access to credit, mentorship, and investment opportunities.
Keeping the needs of women entrepreneurs in focus, the program has been designed across four key stages:
- Exploration stage of entrepreneurship
- Pre-incubation stage
- Incubation stage
- Growth and market access stage
Speaking on the initiative, Himanshu Nivsarkar, Head – CSR and ESG, Kotak Mahindra Bank, said: “Capital is only one part of the challenge and often not the first. The bigger issue women face is the lack of a sustained support ecosystem that enables long-term decision-making. Through this program, we are committed to empowering women with the confidence, capability, and continuity needed to stay on the entrepreneurial path.”
Rasika Prashant, CEO of NSRCEL, said: “The next wave of entrepreneurship in India will come from diverse geographies, sectors, and founder backgrounds. Women entrepreneurs, especially from smaller towns, are solving critical community challenges. However, they lack access to networks and support systems required for business growth. This program aims to bridge that gap by offering structured, long-term support through mentorship, market access, and a strong ecosystem.”
The program also aims to expand beyond metropolitan areas and reach rural and semi-urban regions. It supports ventures working in areas such as regenerative agriculture, community-led education, waste recycling, and applied technologies.
Following the success of the 2025 edition—which supported 30 startups with funding of ₹3 crore—the program is expected to further strengthen the linkage between regional institutions and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
