Yogada Satsang Society of India has brought out the Kannada version of Kriya Yoga as preached and popularised by Paramahamsa Yoganand.
Giving details, Smarananand swamiji said that the book will be released on March 25 at 6:00 pm at Mastiff Grand near Narendra Cross in Dharwad followed by a discourse.
Swamiji said that Kyiya Yoga deals with balance of mind and breadth. Through breadth controlling techniques, mind can be controlled. The book highlights how to improve memory, how to deepen will power, conquering bad habits, how to get along with others, health and diet principles. Even Rajayoga techniques and energising exercises can be learnt.
Children below 12 can practice energising exercises, after 12 other techniques which are a plank for Kriya Yoga can be practiced.
Already, there are publication in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and now is being brought out in Kannada. Every month two lessons will be taught.
An app too has been developed and people can register for app for digital format and practice session.
