ಇಂದಿನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದ (Shikaripura) ಕುಮದ್ವತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್.ವಿ.ವಿ.ಎಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಯಾದ ಡಾ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್ ಅವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಅವರು ಸಹ್ಯಾದ್ರಿ ಸಹೋದಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಮದ್ವತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ “ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ”ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳತ್ತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮ ನಾಗರಿಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮೇಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ವಿ.ವಿ.ಎಸ್ನ ಆಡಳಿತ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಕುಬೇರಪ್ಪ ಕೆ. ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಮುಧೋಳದ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶಶಿಧರ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚನ್ನಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಸಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ಶಾಲೆ, ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಆರ್.ಎಸ್. ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಎಸ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಪ್ರಭು ಆರ್. ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ವಿವಿಧ ಸಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಎಸ್ನ ಬೋಧಕ ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಸಹಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರಾದ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಎಚ್.ವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜಾ ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಿಫಾ ಆರ್ ಅವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ಎಂ ಮತ್ತು ಚಂದನ್ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

Shikaripura: Science Revolution Essential in a Competitive Era: Dr. Shivakumar
Emphasizing the importance of scientific advancement in today’s competitive world, Dr. Shivakumar G.S, Principal of Kumadvathi College of Education and Management and Management Representative of SVVS, stated that a science revolution is essential to keep pace with modern challenges.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the “SSSC Science Teachers’ Workshop” organized at Kumadvathi Residential Central School under the aegis of Sahyadri Sahodaya Complex, Shivamogga.
Dr. Shivakumar noted that today’s students are increasingly inclined toward practical and modern methods of learning. He stressed that it is the responsibility of teachers to identify such talents and nurture them into responsible citizens.
Mr. Kuberapppa K., Administrative Coordinator of SVVS, was present on the dais.
The workshop featured resource persons Mr. Shashidhar Kulkarni, Principal of Basaveshwara International Public School, Mudhol, and Mr. R.S. Suresh, Principal of Sri Channamallikarjuna CBSE School, Shikaripura, who conducted the sessions.
Also present were Mr. Prashanth H.D., Principal of KRCS, and Mr. Prabhu R., Coordinator of KRCS, Shikaripura. Science teachers from various CBSE schools, along with teaching and non-teaching staff of KRCS, participated in the workshop.
The inaugural and valedictory sessions were welcomed by co-teachers Ms. Kavya H.V. and Ms. Pooja K. The program was compered by Ms. Shilpa M.S. and Ms. Arifa R., while the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Aishwarya M. and Mr. Chandan.
